Shaas Perfume (“Shaas,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Shaas iOS app and the website at shaas.in. This policy explains how information is handled when you use them.

Information handled by the iOS app

The app asks for perfume preferences, such as who a fragrance is for and the intended use. These choices are used on your device to generate recommendations and are not sent to Shaas by the native recommendation feature.

If you tap Use my location, the app requests location permission from iOS. It uses the city and country returned by the device to adapt fragrance suggestions for the local climate. The app does not request location at launch, does not store location after the current app session, and does not send location to Shaas servers. Apple may process location information to provide the system geocoding service.

The app reads the public Shaas sitemap to discover products and links you to the matching public product page.

Website and purchases

The app displays portions of shaas.in inside an in-app browser. When you use website features such as a contact form, newsletter, order, delivery, or payment flow, the website may collect information you provide, including your name, contact details, shipping details, order details, and payment-related information needed to complete the transaction.

Payment information is handled by the payment provider used at checkout. Shaas does not intentionally store full card details unless this is clearly disclosed at checkout.

How information is used

• To provide product recommendations, orders, delivery, customer support, and website features.

• To communicate about an order, enquiry, or subscription where you have asked us to do so.

• To maintain security, prevent fraud, meet legal obligations, and improve our services.

Sharing

We may share necessary information with service providers that help operate Shaas, such as website hosting, payment processing, delivery partners, customer support, and legal or regulatory authorities where required. These providers may use information only to provide their services or as required by law.

Retention

Recommendation choices and location used by the native app are kept only while the app is running. Website and order information is retained only for as long as needed for the purposes described above, including tax, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.

Your choices and rights

You can decline or revoke location permission at any time in iPhone Settings. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held by Shaas, contact us using the details below. Some information may need to be retained where law requires it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

Shaas is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
